The “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 High OG is set to make its highly anticipated retail return later this year.
New images have emerged that provide more looks at the upcoming iteration of this Air Jordan 1. Inspired by Michael Jordan breaking a backboard during an exhibition game during an Italian tour, they sport an orange toe overlaid with black leather. The same black leather also appears at the eye row and extends to the collar, where it is overlaid with starfish leather. Black Swooshes adorn the white lateral and medial side panels, while a Wings logo occupies its traditional placement on the lateral ankle. Starfish leather also wraps the heel, with “NIKE AIR” branding perched atop the black nylon tongue.
The insole features a shattered backboard graphic; a white midsole and starfish rubber outsole complete the aesthetic.
As it currently stands, the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 High OG is slated to embark upon its sophomore retail voyage on July 12. They will carry a 180 USD sticker price.
